Spontaneous Memorials in Clement Park

One of the most touching events after the Columbine tragedy were the spontaneous memorials that were set up in Clement Park, next to Columbine High. For the first time I am including 14 photos from that memorial here.

After the first few days, the flowers, cards, signs, teddy bears and baloons were everywhere...
Blue and silver were everywhere...

The Spring weather was awful, so tents were erected to hold and protect the materials

and people...

One of the tents began to blossom...

Blue and silver/white teddy bears were popular items...

Soon the tents were overflowing...

Many outpourings of love...

Victim John Tomlin's truck, which was parked in the Clement Park parking lot at the

time of the massacre, became part of the spontaneous memorial...

It became difficult to even find a place to walk...
