   Dear Sir,

   I would also like to send my greetings to Daniel Mauser. I am a girl from China, and please forgive me if there are awkward expressions in the following text.

   When I was reading about school shootings, I came across materials concerning the Columbine shooting and learned about Daniel Mauser Very little information about him can be found in China, yet the limited accounts I managed to read filled my heart with immense sorrow. Maybe because we are of similar age, I have always wished that I could have been his friend. He was bright and outstanding, and I am eager to learn more about him.

   My English is not very proficient, so I spent a long time translating contents on the memorial website. I was deeply touched to learn that you have adopted a girl of Chinese descent just like me. I went through countless messages left on the website, and it warms my heart to know that so many people across the world still remember daniel mauser.

   I hope that when I grow up and have the means, I can travel to his hometown to visit. I also sincerely hope that the United States can implement much stricter gun control laws.
